How to Use Click Calculator

1. Select the labeled pen dose that matches your KwikPen.
2. Enter the desired dose (mg) you intend to deliver.
3. Choose a rounding preference (whole clicks).
4. Press Calculate Clicks to see estimated clicks and delivered dose.

Pen Assumptions (UK 60‑click)

• A full labeled dose equals 60 clicks.
• Estimated mg per click = labeled dose ÷ 60.
• Result shows ideal clicks and the delivered dose vs. desired, including difference.

Example

For a 5 mg pen (60 clicks), each click ≈ 0.0833 mg. A desired dose of 3.0 mg is ≈ 36 clicks (3.0 ÷ 0.0833).

Accumulation Model

We model relative concentration using exponential decay with elimination constant k = ln(2) / half-life. For each dose at time t_n, contribution at time t is Dose_n · e^{−k·(t−t_n)}. Results are in relative units proportional to mg.

How to Use Dosage Calculator

1. Select a Titration Plan: Standard (4-week steps up to 15 mg) or enter a Custom weekly mg list.
2. Choose a PK Preset or set Half-life (days) and Dosing Interval (days).
3. Set Simulation Duration (weeks).
4. Click Calculate Accumulation to view the summary and accumulation graph.

Interpreting the Graph

• Rising then plateau: With weekly dosing, levels rise and approach a steady-state over several half-lives.
• Peaks and troughs: Mild oscillation may appear around steady-state, depending on half-life vs. interval.
• Effect of half-life: Longer half-life → smoother curve and higher accumulation; shorter half-life → lower accumulation and more fluctuation.
